“Ecto 88” is the Ernest Cline‘s name for his hybrid-DeLorean. Ernie created his DeLorean using the DeLorean Time Machine, Buckaroo Banzai’s Rokit 88, The Ghostbuster’s Ecto-1, and Knight Rider’s K.I.T.T for inspiration.
