George D. Broomfield, 82, of Sun City, AZ passed away on June 3, 2008. George served in the US Navy during WW II. Upon graduation from college, he joined GM Overseas Operations, where he held executive positions in Brazil, Argentina, and West Germany. In 1978, he joined DeLorean Motor Cars as Director of Manufacturing in Northern Ireland. He is survived by his wife Gisela, son George and daughter-in-law Jan, daughter Cheryll, grandsons Sean and Jimmy, granddaughter Jennifer and great-granddaughter Alexis. His Phoenix relatives include Robert and Cuma Broomfield, Chico Austin, Judy and Mike Soock, Heidi and Al Rosetti. Best Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. There will be a Memorial Service at the National Cemetery in Phoenix and subsequent interment in Philadelphia, PA at the convenience of the family.
